Privately Operated Reference Site
Runnels County Warrant Records is privately run and has no affiliation with a local, state, or federal government body, court, or law-enforcement office. It does not issue or serve warrants and does not maintain a government warrant system. Its purpose is to point readers toward official court, clerk, sheriff, and Texas sources.
Accuracy of Information
Public offices can change phone numbers, hours, addresses, fees, forms, and procedures. A record may also change after the site’s research date. We try to present useful local information, but cannot promise that every detail remains correct. Call the office before traveling, filing, or sending a payment.
Warrant Status Changes - Verify Before You Rely
Warrants may be issued, served, recalled, quashed, returned, or sealed as a case moves forward. A blank result on a custody tool is not proof that no warrant exists, and a prior listing may no longer reflect the court’s current file. Runnels County does not publish a public countywide warrant list in the official sources reviewed. Confirm the case with the issuing clerk and ask the Sheriff or city police about service when directed.
Use any result as a lead for an official call. Only the court that issued the process can confirm the court’s current status and decide whether it has been recalled or set aside.
Verify With the Official Source
The official answer must come from the office that holds the record. Contact the District Clerk for a 119th District Court file, the County Clerk for county-court records, a JP or municipal clerk for a lower-court citation, or the Sheriff for its service and custody information. Texas DPS FTA/FTP is a reported-citation status route, not a full warrant search. Local sources include the Sheriff’s Office, the District Clerk, and the County Clerk.
Not Legal Advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice or a substitute for a lawyer. Questions about a felony, capias, bond, voluntary appearance, or a motion to recall should be discussed with a licensed Texas attorney and the court that issued the process.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages include a search widget supplied by an outside company. This site does not set that company’s fees, data practices, or results. A third-party match may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Review the provider’s terms and verify any court status with the issuing clerk.
Outbound Links
Links are provided to county, city, court, sheriff, Texas, and other resources for convenience. Their pages and services are controlled by those organizations. Runnels County Warrant Records cannot guarantee their content, accuracy, or availability.
No Records on This Site
This site does not host Runnels County warrants, an active-warrant roster, jail records, case files, or court dockets. It points readers to the public offices that hold those records. To confirm a warrant, contact the issuing court or the law-enforcement office named by that court.
Disclaimer Questions and Answers
Can this site tell me whether I have a warrant?
No. It has no connection to an official warrant system. Call the issuing court or Sheriff’s Office. Start with the contact sequence on the warrant lookup page.
Does a blank result mean no warrant exists?
No. The county has no public warrant list, and custody tools do not show every court order. Ask the issuing clerk for a current status.
Who can clear or recall a warrant?
The issuing court controls recall or quash decisions. A lawyer can explain the choices for a particular case.
